Mobile detailing across Macclesfield, Prestbury, Bollington and the SK10 and SK11 postcodes. This is the corner of Cheshire where people actually drive their cars, and cars that get driven need something different to cars that get parked.
Macclesfield sits at the edge of the Peak District, and the A537 over the top to Buxton is one of the best known driving roads in the country. It is also gritted heavily, exposed, and surfaced with chippings that get thrown by everything in front of you. Anyone who uses those roads properly knows the front bumper, bonnet leading edge, mirrors and sills take a beating that a car doing the same mileage on the M56 simply does not.
Add the moorland weather, which means standing water and fly strike in summer and salt eight weeks longer than the lowland towns, and the picture is a car that is mechanically enjoyed and cosmetically punished. Which is fine, and honestly the way cars should be used. It just changes what is worth spending money on.
We are honest about the limits here. Correction fixes swirls and scratches in the clear coat. It does not fix stone chips, and no coating stops them. What protection does is make everything else easier: contamination releases instead of bonding, and the car cleans safely rather than needing to be scrubbed.
Multi-stage machine polishing to remove swirls, wash marring and light scratching. We measure paint depth before we touch anything and tell you what is genuinely achievable rather than what sells.
Correction permanently removes clear coat, so it cannot be repeated indefinitely. Coating the result is what stops you needing it again, and it costs less applied while the prep is already done.
Show, track day, or a photoshoot. Booked to a date, finished to a standard, and we work to your timetable rather than ours.
Swirl marks, wash marring, holograms from a bad machine polish, water spotting, light scratches, oxidation and dullness. All of it levels out and none of it comes back unless it is put back.
Stone chips, deep scratches you can catch a fingernail in, and anything into the base coat or primer. Polishing further just removes clear coat you cannot replace.
Every correction takes a measured amount of clear coat away. On most cars that is three or four proper corrections in the paint's life. Protecting the result is how you spend fewer of them.
Paint depth gauge on every panel before any machine work. If a panel has been resprayed or is already thin, we will tell you and work differently on it.
Send a couple of photos in daylight with the postcode and we will tell you honestly what is worth doing.
